Description

The terrain is so wild that the coffee cherries are harvested and transported by scooter instead of four wheelers or ATVs. This wet-hulled, coffee is bright, with a soft mouthfeel complemented by hints of pipe tobacco, cardamom, and cedar.

On the Blue Sunda estate in West Java, around 80-90 tons of coffee are farmed every year on a 50-hectare plantation. We found a sweet spot on this roast at a nice medium level, maintaining the flavor profile one would expect from an excellent Indonesian coffee!
